You think we will ever see Disco Elysium 2 one day?

Since the game was practically finished but the team was laid off, Do you guys think we would maybe see Disco Elysium 2 released in the form of a mod? Or do you guys think it'll be lost forever.

Van Buren (Fallout 3 from Black Isle) was seemingly lost forever but its starting to finally see the light of day

Not in any form that would justify giving it the name Disco Elysium 2.

argo tuulik, justin keenan, and the rest of the junior writers did a brilliant job.
it wouldn't be "disco elysium 2",
but considering how much of "final cut's" dna was from them,
i'd be totally down for a spiritual sequel from those guys.

Sadly, but we have no Planescape Torment 2 and I doubt we would get Disco Elysium 2.
Even Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 can never be released, and this project was already in developement.

So, spiritual successor is more real. And it should be BETTER than Calisto Protocol, for example (Dead Space spiritual successor? No, just average game).

Soooo true about Calisto. Game was such a disaster lol. Wasn't the worst horror game but man was it dull.
