Can't delete saves

When I go to the folder on my PC and delete them, Steam just puts them back. When I try to delete them from inside the game, they don't even disappear to begin with, it just does nothing.

You can turn off Steam cloud for any game. It usually helps with this sort of issue. The saves will be local: only on the device you're playing on. If you need the cloud saves to play the game on more than one device this, obviously, won't be helpful.

I did do that and it worked. Deleting them from inside the game and having that be remembered as a choice is something that should work with steam cloud enabled, though.

In a lot of other games it's even asked me when there's a conflict between the cloud and my PC, which one I want to continue with. Just seems like a better idea overall.
