The Whirling door isnt opening and stuck on the first day

When kim told me that i should talk to grate about the room and the bills, I went and talked to him and kim payed the bills which was 70 coins. Then I went upstairs and found that the door is still appearing as grey. I payed the bills somewhere near 23:00 and grate told that I should pay every night seperatly and the pay is 20 coins per night. Idk if the original bill of 70 coins included that night or not but I couldnt find any dialogue option to pay or to ask about the room. I'm stuck now and my last save is too early to go back and replay 4 hours of progress. Pls help!
