Hotel Key missing

when I hover over keys there is no key for hotel room. I payed 130 for hotel manager and he said he open the room but cant enter because no key.
only threads I saw are from 2 years back of the same issue but no solution.

There’s no key, the manager controls it with a button. There does seem to maybe be a bug that was fixed in old versions but has been broken again? Feels like more than one person had asked about this recently.

there is a key, I unfortunately had to restart from older save and now I can progress the game
