I'm almost 40 and I so understand all the feels the dude feels lol
Also, the lore and worldbuilding is impressive.
for a VIDEO GAME.... it's very good. most games have absolute ass writing. for example rogue trader. tons of writing, all skippable, its all crap.
The only other game with writing that comes close to disco elysium in recent memory is pathologic 2. another game with great writing that gets called pretentious sometimes.
but its really just people with a lower taste hitting the ceiling of their reading ability maybe.
I was expecting DE
to be pretentious which is why I avoided it for a few years, but its very good.
