Kim Removing The Piss Jacket?

What it says on the tin. Got him to wear the jacket on Day 4, but he's not wearing it morning of Day 5. The game mentions something about if you remove yours, he'll remove his, but I've kept mine on the entire time.

Is this a bug? Or does he always take it off at day's end?

Happened to me too. I started to change my jackets freely after that (though the joke is somehow ruined), but in a few days (on day 7 iirc) after some story-related staff I got a dialog option with Kim about him removing the jacket, like he has just done it. Seems buggy.
