I think this is a Steam bug though, the same happens with a bunch of other games as well, for those these "ghost" updates only tend to be like 10-20 mb though.
Seems like a Steam issue, but we've flagged with the team to investigate.
It is very annoying... and really bad when I'm on the go and can't play Disco Elysium =(
* New versions for random libraries(VC++, DirectX and the like). I've seen even windows users complaining about those. I don't think there's anything that can be done about those.
* Your Vulkan shader cache got invalidated(eg. because you did a system update recently) and steam has to download a new one. I think this can be manually disabled either in the game properties or steam settings.
* I have this gut feeling that sometimes steam will update proton-related stuff via a certain game rather than the usual "Proton Runtimes" label. But it's just a hunch and I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.
