Rene is missing

I need to talk to Rene about some special flowers, normaly he is playing a game with his friend in front of the motel, but now i can't find him. His friend is sitting on the bench nearby. where is he? (It's day 5)

He is dead. According to the plot, he dies on the 5th day, unfortunately.

I think there is 2 time limits in the game (even though Devs said there are none). 1 is everything related to Rene, his checks and his small quests. Another is the small quest of following tracks of your own vehicle, which you cant do on day 3 anymore since the billboard is fixed.
