Get Kim to Wear *The Jacket* Achievement Bugged?

I got Kim to wear the jacket. I did not get an achievement. Saw other people reporting this as well.

Is the achievement referring to some other jacket, does he need to wear it until the end of the game, or what? I'm assuming it's just bugged.

EDIT: Not bugged. Still think the wording is too confusing, since it seems to refer to "that" jacket esp since that was added in the same update.

he doesn't wear it until the end of the game, he takes it off after the tribunal. so that has nothing to do with the achievement. i believe it is just bugged.

Yeah, I've tried some of the suggestions I saw but no results. Figured it deserved it's own seperate thread. since it's easier to find for other people with the same issue.

If anyone did unlock it I'd like to know how. Reloading, reopening the game and reloading, none of it worked for several people, that much is clear.

Oh that's interesting, had not played that far. Thanks for the info, makes a bug even more likely.

Yes, it's bugged for most people. Someone in the other thread said it unlocked upon them starting a new game so it's clearly very buggy, hopefully they fix this!

Found out the requirement is actually different. After finishing a hardcore run, Kim´s jacket changes for a new game (mine was hardcore, too). Achievement unlocked upon recruiting him.

Yeah I did the same thing except it unlocked at step 3 for me. So definitely bugged then if even that is inconsistent.

I did this but it did not unlock after doing all the steps, it only unlocked after I re-loaded my save before I recruited Kim in my new hardcore save after re-starting the game, once I recruited him it popped, thanks for the solution.

Yeah, this worked for me with the pre-recruit hardcore step as my step 6 getting it for me.

I just finished my first hardcore run yesterday. Today I started a new hardcore game and after recruit KIm it popped up.
So for me was not necesary reload anything...
I can add that in my first hardcore run I got KIm put Piss****** jacket.
This achivi could be related to Kim getting a new black jacket instead Piss****** jacket?
idkr, its only an idea but for me worked like that, just starting a new game after beat it in hardcore and then recruit Kim, while wearing his new black jacket.

well, I just did what you're saying two hours ago and it didn't worked

I changed my normal game into hardcore mode mid run, finished that one and then started a new hardcore run, and it didn't work. So I guess you need to play a hardcore run from start to finish and then start a new one to get the jacket.
