Time frozen, unless I talk?
I'm on day 3 and it is around 8pm. My clock doesn't appear to be advancing naturally. I walk around and explore and it doesn't advance 1 minute. However, if I speak to people it advances as normal . Is this a bug? I've got past the blackout part. Perhaps that caused it, as I actually thought it was game over and reloaded an earlier save.

Not a bug, time only advances when you choose (new) dialogue options. Unless you're reading. Reading and rereading books or your notes will advance large chunks of time quickly.

But I'm sure it was advancing before when I was just walking around? It's supposed to be real time as far as I know, apart from when reading or in conversation. At the moment I can walk around for 2 real hours and it won't advance a minute...

It's not real-time. It only advances during dialogue. It's one of the tutorial and/or loading screen tooltips, iirc.
