to answer your question, i don't NEED that much money, i WANT that much money. why? well, why not? its not in my nature to look for cheat codes, or see if i can modify the save to add money, but if there's an in-game way to make that much money, even an exploit through game play, well, yeah, i would love to do it, just for fun. it also would be nice to have enough money to buy everything without having to worry about running out of money. my first play though i didn't look up how to do stuff (there may have been an exception here and there). Now, i'm re-playing the game, this time trying to do everything i can as best as possible. obscene amounts of money would help 100% the clothing collection.
You can get 700 real legitimately, though, even without doing the vision quest. Mostly by taking the thoughts that give you money as early as you can with as much left to do as you can.
the rest of what you said went a little over my head. i haven't delved into the cop type or politics yet. when i feel like getting into that part of the game, i'll look into those things you listed. this game has A LOT of depth.
First thing you should do is go to Joyce and ask for money, she'll give you 100 real, then wait until 10pm on the first day, Kim will give you a set of wheel to sell so you can pocket the 100 real from Joyce. You only have to pay for the 2nd day at the Whirling Rags.
When the bridge opens just go and ask the lady in the hut she'll give you free place to stay, so the game gives you 80 real for free.
Or you could just beg for money from everyone like I did from the first playthrough. I think begging and always choose money option gives me the quest for the dude in the container.
2nd playthrough I didnt beg for any money or take bribe, I was a communist so I didnt get that quest.
Oh and you get an achivement for always trying to hustle too.
You can eke a bit of money out of him, but only a modest amount. He didn't get where he is through charity!
Though this may all seem like a glib metaphor, it's actually a pretty succinct expression of a real phenomena.
This is called, "going on and on about ♥♥♥♥ nobody cares about". You could just say, "I have a question." Providing meta analysis about what you could say AND Then SAYING IT ALL ANYWAYS makes you sound like a stupid, narcissistic tit.
What a nasty reply.
