Bug During Dream (Spoilers)

I'm seeing allot of people talking about the common bug in the church, but no one saying they are getting a bug at the start of the Dolores Dei Dream on the Sea Fortress. The game freezes in the same way as in the church when you first encounter Dolores in the dream. Can't Continue.

I've done literally everything I've read to attempt to fix and after 8? 9? Tries it still won't let me continue. I refuse to skip it. And, yes, I sent a bug report to the developers. I never had any problems with crashes before the Director's Cut.

Throw ALL the ideas at me on how to fix. Maybe there are a few I haven't tried yet.

What I have already tried:
- re-installing
- checked all my drivers and they are current
- turned off virus protection and firewall
- put in windowed mode and lowered graphics settings
- played a little more a tried again from different save file
- tried being at different camera zoom, equiped different clothing, etc.
- other things I can't remember now

Ran into the same problem and because of another answer to the same problem I fixed it for me:
Entering Water; Quicksave (I tried around a bit); Then NO keyboard use, but click in front of her an onto her. Because only then my Disco-Baby walks straight to her and the dialoge continues as usual

I was stuck at a different instance of this bug (Pigs) which I got past by putting the game in French. I just got to Delores and switching languages isn't working for me this time.
