No. The book club is near Cindy the Skull (there is a door on the same balcony she is standing on).
The door you are describing is connected to a different quest.
Yeah, the meeting room is "it". There is no other extra area and I don't think you missed anything. And no other political vision quest comes with a new area either.
Whatever the truck is actually blocking, as much as it's teased in the game, is sadly inaccessible. At least, to my knowledge.
There are so many ways that the game is obviously set up for a sequel.
First - the SQUARE BULLET HOLE MURDERS haven't been solved yet. Near the end of the game, a (Shivers?) check, among other things, mentions a "square bullet being loaded into a square chamber".
Second - also near the end of the game, a high enough Esprit du Corps check will reveal that the Big Boss of the RCM - with an even more impressive reputation than Kim is listing names of RCM officers and gauging reliability for "being on the side of the people. - it's hinted this has something to do with the RCM as a continuation of the ICM (the communists). and just maybe a second revolution.
Third - a Shivers check tells you that Revachol will be destroyed by a nuclear bomb in 20 years, and only Harry can stop it. I would consider Shivers to be generally reliable - the "voice of the city" is *real*.
In addition to that, "The Return" is mentioned several times during the game, especially by Klassje, who knows more than she is letting on. It's implied to mean a second revolution. What's the name of the final task in the game? "The Return.".
Or perhaps this is the end. Maybe more is planned, but we'll never get to see it. I hope we don't live in that timeline.
I think they're making another game set in the same universe. One idea I think was said in an interview was playing as a pregnant woman (your baby probably talking to you instead of your brain)
