Need help with bug in the Church (SPOILERS)

When we are with soona, andre and the other guys in the church after we talk to egghead to connect a wire in order to start a test to discover the nature of the void and an earthquake begins, my game doesn´t continue from that point, it keeps in the earthquake animation forever. the only two things that i can do is change the language with ´q´ or ´l´ and navigate in the dialog box, i can´t even pause the game to go to the menu. Please help.

Put settings at low (instead of high), windowed mode and resolution to 1680 x1050 for that moment.

If it doesn't - try scrolling dialogue log up and down for a few seconds. Just got to that moment and worked like a charm. Weird it hasn't been fixed yet. Brilliant game though.

After Wegen plug-in, just press space to skip every programmer’s dialogues quickly once you can. Then you will jump out from the bug. It worked for me and some other guys. Hope it will help you guys either.

I had the same bug, tried several times - nothing. So, I just skipped that Church quest and did progress in other directions. Then I returned to the Church and it worked from the first time.

I have this exact problem and still can't break out of it — tried all the tricks and resolutions, but still nothing. Going to try and skip a day, mb that'll help somehow

quickly skip the programmer's dialogues using spaces (it helped me) try several times if the first does not work

I had the same problem. Reloaded and tried many times, didn't help. Thing is, it was only happening when Harry went to the church alone.

I went to sleep and came back the next morning with Kim. All worked well on the first try. Maybe Kim will solve this problem for others as well :)

I had this bug too. I reduced all my quality settings and switched to windowed mode (as suggested above), and that fixed it.

I also clicked quickly through the dialogue (also a suggestion) but my *guess* is it was the quality settings that did the trick.
