I loved the be a hooker quests in Fallout and Arcanum (sheep attack!!) . Is there anything similar like it here?

No dudes, I'm talking about is sex an actual fact of life in this game. Like, for example, are you going to be seduced by hookers trying to get you on their good side. Or any other situation where sex is part of the scenario.

It always strikes me as completely unbelievable and prudish when sex is ignored completely. While it's a pretty integral part of life.

Don't care much about sex in my games but I kinda agree with OP, we need more adult writting, especially in RPGs.

The messed up stuff you could do in Fallout 1 and 2 were among the funniest part of a video game I ever played.

I'm hoping these devs didn't shy away from dark and twisted jokes for the sake of being Politically Correct™.

Don't know about sex scenes but I saw a video where your character was propositioning a girl in the first building. He failed the skill check and his dialogue option was "I want to have f*** with you." It's hilarious.

Sex events in Arcanum were pretty unnecessary and distasteful tho.
From what it seems sex is gonna be mentioned at least and there's no reason to care about it further.

That's the daft thing about regarding this as "adult" content. Nothing marks a piece of pop-culture out as immature and juvenile than by being packed full of crass sexual references.
Most people over the age of 30 tend to have gotten over themselves when it comes to sex being the center of existence, and the notion that unrestrained depictions of it in entertainment media is somehow skewering stories that aren't contriving ways to "shock-the-elders".

I get the impression it'll work well in this game at least, because the whole underpinning point of the protagonist is shining a light on his myriad dysfunctional traits, and it seems like it probably won't pull any punches painting the guy as sad and desperate.

To some extent I feel the early Fallout games carried that off fairly well too... clearly meaningless-in-context sexual encounters often felt entirely unremarkable, awkward, unfulfilling... rather than "wahay, you bagged some ♥♥♥♥♥!"

I've seen many women in all kinds of positions in real life using sex to get an advantage. And newspapers here are full with sex related trivia that happen in everyday life. Why is it so abnormal to have sex related activities happening in games?
