By pure coincidence I happened across this piece in an internet rabbit hole night of browsing a few weeks ago. They struck me as painfully trendy and edgy but certainly interesting. But definitely not dangerous or radical in any sense I understand anyway

The girl in the piece is one of the cofounders of Chapo
Enjoy the game!!
There is quest where you need to call for reinforcements to beat up the "hardie" boys
wonder if that suppose to be proud.
I know cause when came to store page someone was playing livestream and doing that quest.
Also reminder that T_D was quarantined following direct incitements to murder Oregon police for upholding the law against Republican lawmakers. It somehow evaded quarantine though for organising a terrorist car attack.
Not sure what these facts have to do with a game, though.
The devs made no secret of this fact for the years they have spoken about the game, not sure why its a surprise to anybody?
Now go back to this games store page. Do you see anything saying "politics"? If you are not hiding it why not say it openly? Make it a feature?
On the contrary, on the every possible occasion (99% of characters who agree with revolution are liars, the other 1% is agreed upon everyone else to be insane) the game insults the ideas of revolutioners from in-game history. The "senses" that speak to you frequently go even farther - they break the walls of fictional-history narrative and just outright have a go at the communism as per modern definition (an idea everyone tremendously enjoys criticizing without any fear of backlash, which is a rarity in modernity). Logic, rhetoric, other senses make lengthly fun of you if you choose communist-ish dialogue options several times. They do also make fun of fascism, albeit in a less apparent and creative way. Because demeaning of communism has a long history and the methods are all well established and, evidently, quite re-usable.
As such I do not understand how anyone who has seen said moments can claim this is a game from "Marxist supporterts". Though maybe the are. They are trying so hard to make communism ,as an ideology for sentient species, look bad, that maybe this is a several-turns game where the make the player feel sorry and thus empathetic with an idea. Though do they have enough wits?
True, making a game political and making a game careting exclussively to 1 (2?) political ideologies is kinda a different thing. Either way, the game is great and educated people with >=3 IQ won't anyhow suffer due to the mild brainwashing, but the grey mass might actually get wrong ideas.
If its poking fun at a bit - or showing merits of - everything, I don't see an issue.
Having said that, I don't really know where this game stands there, but thats my useless two cents.
Ye Gadz!! Thought provoking subject matter in a roleplaying game... no no no this will not do cut it out remove it!
