Just wondering, how many days are there at most?

I finished the mercenary tribunal on Day 9 and went to the island on Day 10.
Dose anyone take longer time before going to the island? like on Day 10 or Day 11? Or can I spend the night on the island?

You can have as many days as you want really. The game only makes you think that days matter, but (with some exceptions, like day 3) they do not. The game runs on trigger events and that's how it progresses the main story. So, if you want to spend, let's say, 25 days just walking around before you go to find Ruby - you can :). You will probably be quite bored though ;).

There might be some upper day limit whee the game will just force you to progress, but I certainly never found it. And I doubt there is one.

I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) you can spend the night on the island at all. You can take a nap there, but I didn't find any place to actually sleep.

Going to agree with Rasa, the Ruby event was a clear trigger so just save constantly if you're unsure and if you ever get to a major event and think it might limit your days you can just load the previous save.
