Can't Tell Joyce About Evrart's Ultimate Goal

I'm trying to unlock the Insilindian Miracle thought.

I did both tasks for Evrart and he told me everything. That he wants a war and to be independent. I went to Joyce and can tell her about both tasks, but I can't tell her about his ultimate goal, to trigger her to tell me about the discovery of the Insilindian isola.

What am I missing/doing wrong here?

Have you told Evrart everything or most of everything Joyce has told you? You might need to do that as well.

I'm pretty sure I've greyed out every discussion option but I do not recall being able to tell him anything about Joyce other than she wants to know what he's up to. He tells me he's very interested in transparency, basically telling you he wants you to tell Joyce things. I'll double check.

Yeah, there might be some other options that appear under the greyed-out option with Evrart about Joyce, depending on what you've done with her.

This convo will open up under the option to talk about Evrart, so Yes you are going to want to revisit that topic having already exhausted it before. Beyond that, this convo with Joyce should occur very late in the game. Make sure you have progressed far enough in the investigation. This is literally one of the last conversations you want to have with her.

Oh okay, I didn't realize it was gated behind progression in the investigation. I was honestly trying to unlock the white check for the freezer underneath the bookstore, as it's blocking TWO things I want to do (the church and joining the committee), and I can't put points in the relevant skill.

I think sometimes it shows dialogues as greyed out even though you haven't explored all branches/ new stuff as a side note

You might have already tried this, but have you used drugs to increase the learning cap on the skill you need? Alternatively you can try slotting new thoughts to see if you can get something that helps. You're looking at Insulindian Miracle but there are a few others that unlock white checks.

You could also buy a die from Neha and see if that unlocks anything helpful.

Die from Neha? But yeah I did try alcohol already haha, but my phys is actually 1, my stats are boosted to 3 with the boring cop thought. So boosting phys to 2 does nothing, sadly.

Hmm, I thought learning cap bonuses stacked in some way.

You can buy a die/dice from the dicemaker, Neha, in the Doomed Commercial Area. Each die gives you a +1 bonus to a different set of checks, unlocking them. A few of the bonuses (not sure if it's all of them) are listed on the pages linked here: https://discoelysium.fandom.com/wiki/Novelty_Dicemaker
