Endurance equals heath and Volition equals Morale Sitting on the chair hurts your health. Stress hurts your morale. If your Endurance/Volition skills are only a one or two, that can happen easily. However, something the game does NOT make clear is if you have collected medication that restores health/moral, you can use it to save your life. So look at Harry's picture in the bottom left. Each Orange bar is a health bar. Blue Is Morale. They have crosses above them that have Numbers in the center in white. The Numbers in white are how many doses of medication you have collected that restore one point of Health or Morale.

Note: these meds never show in your inventory. The only way to tell how many you have collected is by looking at the crosses. Clicking the crosses uses one dose each.

So click the cross. It will restore One Bar to Health or Morale. There are a LOT more meds for Morale to be found in game than Health. So feel free to waste those more freely.

Even if you run completely out of health or morale, the game takes a few seconds to kill you as the black slowly takes over your screen. Click the right cross and you can save your life.

If you show zeros in the centers of the crosses, you haven't collected any applicable medications. This is a scavenger game so keep an eye out for stuff you can pick up. Holding down your Right mouse button highlights stuff you can collect in Green.

It's also worth noting that you can get up from the chair by taking the dialog selections that get you OUT of the convo ASAP. I do that a lot anyway to save between dialog branches. So back out of the convo and then talk to him again and the chair won't be a problem anymore.

There are meds in the guard post on the far side of the harbour from Evrart's office, so you can't softlock there anymore.

Thank you!! the save file I am stuck on, I had 2 morale left and it was not enough to make it pass that point of the game and I do not have any meds for it. I am going to play a earlier file and try to find more of the meds(Which I did not know exist, thank you very much) plz take my little reward as a thank you!

It's been a while since i played the game but as i recall you can save the game during conversations.
