Encountering a softlock.

Just in case but SPOILER WARNING


I'm on Day 6 and I just arrived arrived at the Island with the fortress, the one with the generator and I decided to take a rest on the bed in the room with said generator because I wanted to see if i got into a dream maybe as it had happened before and it actually did. My issue is that in the dream when ever I approach Dolores Dei I get stuck at the beginning of what I assume is gonna be a conversation, now I can't even enter a menu or anything like that and I'm forced to Alt F4 out of the game and I've already reloaded to see if this was just a one off thing multiple times but I'm still getting softlocked. I'm gonna try to use a save before I came onto the island to see if maybe the cause of the softlock is something I had equipped or did before entering the dream that may cause this weird issue.
If anyone has any idea as to how to fix this issue I would really appreciate it, I've already reported this bug so hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I've had this same issue. I also reported it as a bug and I'm incredibly bummed I can't finish this portion of the game :/

Encountered this softlock when I met the pigs, still don't know what to do. Before, I encountered the softlock when I needed to look at the ledger in front of the Kineema's while special lights on. But that time I just tried to talk on radio first and then lockdown didn't appear

UPD: just solved the issue with the Pigs. It's prolly because of a dual shock connected to my PC, I've read the dedicated reddit thread and just tried not to let the left stick go after dialog appearing

i have experienced this exact same bug too, i also experienced it when playing the thing with soona and the church breaking. this is such a weird bug and annoying too. i hope they fix it soon, or at the very least i find a solution to this.

Ran into the same bug when encountering Dora . To solve this, Just keep run forward, don't let a WASD button/stick go

Alright I should have posted this earlier but i decided to take a break from the game but yes this seems to solve the issue at least with this specific softlock. Not sure if this helps with the other ones. From what I can see the game bugs out if you are running at Dolores so if you walk towards her you should have no issue. Anyways thanks guys.

Clicking on (or near) Noid worked for me.
