Controller support?
Since this game was also released now on consoles, can I play it with a controller on PC?

Yes, you must to select a layout on "Controller configuration" on Steam, and it works directly on the game.

i'm sorry but for me there is no offical controller support. So yes, you can play with steam emulating the mouse and keyboard but this is absolutly not a controller supported game.

You dont need to do that. It has Native Xbox & PS support.

I play with a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller without problem. DS4 and Xbox Controller works fine as others said.

Works perfect for me with the Xbox One controller. My steam settings are controllers "off" by default, which IMO fixes most issues with most games (like rumble triggers in Tomb Raider).

You can still turn them on game by game if it needs it on for some reason.

I'm using an Xbox One Controller (tried on and off settings)

Go to the main controller settings in Steam (Top Left corner, Settings, Controller).
In the General Controller Settings tab make sure all options are OFF (untick).
Right click on the game in your library, go to Properties, controller settings, in the drop down menu set it to- Use Default Settings.
Leave it like this for all games & you will always have full native functionality if the game supports it (which is the vast majority of games including DE)

Yeah sorry, but this doesn't work. At least not for DE. I followed these directions to the letter and the game refuses to actually work with my PS4 controller. It registers that its attached but it does nothing, this same controller works with every other game in my library.

I don't think DE had any controller playtesting at all.

Ok, sorry for the noise, after a full restart (computer) my version is now seeing correctly my controller and showing it in the game. (witout any custom settings in steam)
sorry again and thanks for all the hints

Hey gyus! I have xbox series controller, it works ALMOST fine, except A and B buttons dont work in gameplay at all (I can't do any actions but can easily zoom in/out and enter some menus by pressing X, etc). I tried the same thing with Dualshock 4 and it works the same (X and O don't work in gameplay).
How can I fix this issue?
