Damaged Ledger bug?

After unlocking the secret compartment in the damaged ledger, and reading that letter from his, ex? Harry fell on the ground unconscious.
Then a loading screen came and after a bit a full screen image of Disco Elysium was shown, with some cool design (which I've never seen before). After that a conversation came with Kim about his motor carriage and how fine it was, with its 7.2 lts V12 motor and whatnot... Meanwhile I couldn't see nothing but black, and the conversation.

*The big issue here* is that after the conversation was over, the visuals came back, and I was with Kim next to the carriage, *without any UI (or HUD whatever)*. Couldn't open ♥♥♥♥ with hotkeys either like Inventory with I, and such.

Is this a bug? Or after I fell unconscious I went to some alternative dimesion?

That sounds like the dialogue UI bug. Can you open the game menu, settings and so on? Try changing the resolution or text size, see if that jars something loose? Try hitting some buttons you usually wouldn't, like Backspace, H, or tilde (`)? I can't remember if the latter do anything, but there was something that seemed to... reload the dialogue screen last time I played? But I can't remember which key it was, sorry.

I've had things like that once or twice, one later location in particular. Had to restart the game and just redo some stuff once, unfortunately. Thanks, reopening the game did it.
