How is the game Gameplay wise ?
Kinda interested in the game from the store page but wanted a an insight on how the gameplay is by people that played it.
Describing my game taste would been that i kinda want to try strategy games but i feel like i am unable to enjoy overly complicated ones, (in fact i want to try the banner saga one day) and i like RPG and a good story, but i am a bit skeptical about this game.
I may have not looked it a lot, but is the game a strategic one combat wise ? Is there any combat or anything do in between or it mostly consist in a story narrated with huge wall of texts ?
Nothing against huge wall of texts, but i myself am not sure if i can be able to go past them costantly if i don't have nothing to play gameplay wise apart from interactions with dialogue themself.

The combat is basically non-existent and the two times it occurs it's played out via dialogue choices. The gameplay itself, it's really driven by text + choices and it's a lot of text even by RPG standards. It's a great story though and one of the things I really like about it is because it embraces failure you really didn't need to scum save but instead live with the choices you've made. It gives it a kinda tabletop RPG feel.

You could try a lets-play video but I've got a feeling it's not going to be the game for you.

Thank you very much for the insight, the game does use the same system as for example dungeon and dragons for succeeding in interactions or i am wrong cause i believe i have seen some things like that in an image.
I think at some point i will give this game a chance for me, just to try something different and who knows maybe i will enjoy it a lot.

It's very much here's your choices and your success may be based on rolling a skill check. The difference between DE and the average RPG dialogue system is it isn't just a case of exhausting the dialogue tree to get to the right choice and you also have your own inner monologue giving you suggestions of what to do. I really like that as it helps with the what would my character do not what would I do, problem. One of my biggest issues with your average RPG is that you often get put into positions of accepting a quest not because you character would but because you want the trinket as a reward.

So in terms of dialogues and how to approach the narrative you have a lot of room to act as much as you prefer in line with the character that you try to build?
