How to actually talk with the Paledriver?
On Day 3, I already found my badge and would prefer to give it to Joyce so I don't have to do that side investigation for her . But so far it's the only way I've seen to be able to talk to driver, otherwise Kim always stops you from snapping her awake.

It's part of the drug investigation side quest. You'll need to further a reputation with Joyce to actually speak with Paledriver.

Even if you don't agree with Joyce's affiliation politically, or you find her intimidating, I would still go through with her side investigation. You get to learn more about what's going on around Revachol.
