Game won't load

I'm having the most frustrating time getting help for this.

I can't open the game. I bought it a few weeks ago. It worked the first time I played it. I've tried reinstalling, running steam as an admin, verifying the install. I put in a bug report the day it happened. I've also tweet at y'all and you said you'd be in touch, and I've posted about it here in the discord, but no one is responding to me. Had I known I'd be talking to the void, I would have just returned the game when it stopped working.

Same here, I've submitted a bug report multiple times and it seems like absolutely nothing is getting done.

I haven't gotten it to load in a month. Updated drivers, verified files and deleted and reinstalled numerous times. No good. Also have reported this twice before, still nothing. I got a $50 game that I can't play, can't get a refund for and get help from either Zaum or steam.

If it ran 1+ times, and nothing changed on the machine, I figure it must be in the config files. I would try finding and deleting any settings files that might be under documents or or C:\users\...\AppData. I can't be more specific because i do not know where this games places the config files.

1) Rewrite registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZAUM Studio\Disco Elysium

2) C:\Users\%youruser%\AppData\LocalLow\ZAUM Studio\Disco Elysium\

I would clear the the registry and all local files, and try reinstalling.

I know this may be a little late but a fix for this can be found by creating a new game and then progressing until you can access the pause menu, then load your old save from there. It worked for me and a few others
