Goracy's Brew gives permanent +3 bonus to physique?

Umm. I'm bit afraid of pointing this out because this is hilarious if its a bug, but if it isn't, is this buff that ends at end of day or something? Because holy crap I wasn't expecting to have permanent +3 physique from doing the stupid thing of tuning brew up :p

Well either way it doesn't list it being +3 in item itself, but in the stats... But I did drunk it 3 times, so maybe game accidentally makes it both stack and last longer than hour? Kinda worried if reloading game or other stuff fixes this

Another thing I discovered is that wiki was right about cop of apocalypse doubling pyrhedlion bonus even though game doesn't tell that anywhere(though it does make sense with whole radiation thing :p)

This happens for me too, the bonus never ends when it should, so it just ends up stacking until the end of the game. Makes for a good exploit, I tried to increase it with Revacholian Nationhood, but the +2 version of Goracy's Brew is not bugged.

(btw, after they fix this bug, can you get +4/8 by drinking all four different alcohols at same time?)

I can confirm this bug: the Physique bonus from drinking Goracy's Brew doesn't go away after 1 hour.

I did this specifically with a high Electrochemistry since that's what determines the number of shots you can take. My physique is now at 13.

I do need to find out how electrochemistry works to get this as high as possible when I finally replay game with physique character :'D

(assuming bug still works, they might have fixed it by now x'D Really hoping they didn't since I haven't yet done the max physique shenanigan)

Aww man :'D They didn't fix permanent buff, but they changed brew to be single use only apparently. I missed my chance to do absurdly high physique run I guess

(unless hardcore mode itself limits amount of alcohol uses or if there is bug now related to electo chemistry skill and alcohol use, I should test this out just in case I think)

Edit: Well tested buying alcohol from shop and that was still 3 uses. So brew being 1 use seems intentional. Though it does appear that electo chemistry doesn't anymore increase the uses? Or does that not apply on alcohol but just the other substances?

It doesn't seem so, but the bug works in a weird, unstable fashion. For the first time I was easily able to add +3 to my Physique (it was a test run, and I passed time using books; I was specifically testing whether the Waste Land of Reality would retroactively affect the bonuses or not - and it didn't affect those indeed). For the second time, though, I was only able to drink it once, then after 1 hour I couldn't make Harry drink it for the second time, and when I finally managed to do that, I found that the original +1 bonus was somehow gone. So be careful. In my case it *may* be related to placing the thermal bottle into the wrong slot, placing it there in a wrong way and/or changing its slot in process. In both cases the first intake was by the 'Find booze and drink it' quest.

That's not because the +2 version doesn't work, it's because Fascists do not get the bonus, and "Revacholian Nationhood" is a fasc thought.
(which is almost certainly an accident involving how the glitch works, but it happens to make sense for the item anyway, so that's kinda hilarious😂)
