On racism, there's a couple of overt racist and anti-immigrant characters, and you yourself can become one, an anti-racist, or a kind of biological determinist racist.
On communism, it actually identifies what communism is and some of its real world history with fantasy and fictional placeholders, ie. there's a Marx character. There's characters that use anti-communist talking points that are fictitious in both the game's world and the real world its derived from.
On history and communism, there's a failed political revolution by communists that is reminiscent of The Storming of the Paris Bastille during the French Revolution, and Franco dictatorship after the CNT/FAI revolutions in Spain.
On sexism, there's characters who engage in sexual harassment and sexist behaviours that can either be encouraged, mimicked, or discouraged.
So, the game is in a political conversation. I think it might irk some reactionaries because the writers actually make political references they can't comprehend or even advocate the existence of.
But honestly, I dunno what a trapo chap house is so I don't know how close it is.
