Can anybody please help? Paid for soundtrack, but can't get it.
I have been waiting for the soundtrack to this game to become available, as have many other British Sea Power fans.

Recently a link was advertised saying that the soundtrack is now available to purchase in mp3 or FLAC format. It clearly states that you can buy the soundtrack on its own, without buying the game.

So I paid £9.99 to download the soundtrack. My money was taken, but I have no soundtrack, No download link was provided, either on the screen when I paid or in the e-mail receipt. Not a thing.

There is something written about finding the soundtrack in a section called Library, but I have searched all over this website and cannot find a "Library" anywhere.

So I filled in an "I have a question about this purchase" form. I did not receive a reply.

I followd up my enquiry by filling in another form a day and a half later; I received no reply to this either.

I was about to contact PayPal to ask them for assistance in getting my money refunded, but I thouht as a last resort I would first ask if there are any helpful people here who can offer any advice?

You need to download it through Steam. That means downloading/installing the client/app. You can take the files and do what you want with them after that, of course.

Thank you for taking the time to helpfully respond. I'm afraid I still don't have the files though.

I have installed the client, after logging in I now see the Library tab (which I have gone into), and found the music I paid for under the "Soundtracks" filter.

However, I still cannot see how to download the mp3 files? When I clicked on "Download album" I was being prompted to install something, create shortcuts, etc; and it seemed to be trying to put things into the Program Files folder of my C drive.

So I went along with this, waited about twenty minutes for it to download, and when that finished I still don't have the mp3 files. When the Steam client is switched on it seems to recognise that the songs are there in the library, but I still have absolutely no idea how to get the mp3 files out of it and there are no obvious instructions anywhere.

I need to go to bed now as it is very late here, but if anybody is able to provide any further advice as to how it's possible to get the mp3 files that I paid for then I will see it in the morning and I would really appreciate that.

Thank you.

The way it looks for me, when I select the soundtrack in my library, the tab on the right switches to a track listing, and there's a few options on the side. One of them is Browse Local Files -- that'll take you to the folder in Steam (something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\music\Disco Elysium Soundtrack). One set's FLAC, the other is mp3. You can copy and paste those folders wherever you want.

Right-click on the title of the soundtrack while you're in the Library. Select 'Properties' from the little menu that pops up. Click on the 'Local Files' tab. Click the 'Browse Local Files' button- it should open up the folder where your music files are. Sorry if I can't think of any simpler way of explaining it- I hope this helps?

Edit: Whoops, someone else posted an explanation.

"Browse local files" - that's it! Got it! Thank you so much to both of you for your help with this, I really appreciate your support.
