How to end the first day? Can't go back to my room.

After I got 200 real from the pawnshop, I handed over the room rate to The Cafeteria Manager. When Kim and I came to the door of my room on the second floor, the door was green to show that I could go in. But instead of going in, I went out with Kim to chat with other NPCs elsewhere. After eleven o'clock, Kim and I returned to my room, but the door turned gray, which meant that I couldn't enter the room to sleep. And I could n’t sum up with Kim on the balcony. It's two o'clock now, and time no longer passes. But Kim followed me. I can't sum up with him, nor can I go back to my room. what should I do?

When I go upstairs, I can open the door, because when I tap "TAB" on my keyboard, the door is green, which means that it can be opened. But I didn't open it. I went out with Kim. About two hours later, we came back. However, the door turned to grey and I can't enter my room.

what time is it? did you go with Kim to balcony(quest at 22:00) ?

It's 2 am. now. We went to the balcony, but when I talked to Kim there, I didn't have any new word to say. I mean, I can't conclude the day with him. So weird. This means I'm stuck on the first day. Because the time won't change after 2 am, unless I go to sleep. But I can't enter my room.

hmm, can't remember just hit all the discuss threads with Kim at balcony.
You can just walk on balcony and find location of quest.
He must go to his room after discussion.

Yes, he rent a room too. But I can't conclude with him on balcony. We have discussed all of the question. He doesn't leave and I can't enter my room T_T

hmm, can't remember just hit all the discuss threads with Kim at balcony.
You can just walk on balcony and find location of quest.
He must go to his room after discussion.

I just want to chime in that on 3 different games I've had bugs in the whirling where the doors stop being interactible and I get stuck.
It's happened twice late (The front doors, and door to my room where not clickable) and when I went to the balcony I got stuck there.
The other time was just after the tribunal and I got stuck in my room after opening kims door.

Unfortunately, Kim doesn't say good night to me and the door stop being interactive. He also doesn't conclude the day with me on that balcony.

You can talk with the manager at the Whirling, Kim will tell you he has something can be sold. Then you walk over to his car, click the car, you will find that thing. In the end, you can sell it to earn 200.

You need to be a sneaky ♥♥♥♥♥ to get 200 real from the pawn shop. The way to absolutely maximise your income day one is as follows:
1. When Garte first confronts you with the bill claim he's under arrest and pass an Authority check. Then claim you won't pay for the window. This leaves your bill at a paltry 30 Real.
2. Do whatever you like for the rest of the day but do not have more than 30 Real for your bill.
3. When Kim offers the spinner take them but do not go to the pawn shop, instead go to Joyce and Ask for Money and pass a Volition check. Ask for 100 Real.
4. Pay your bill and wait until Kim goes to bed.
5. Go to the pawn shop and sell the spinners for 200 Real.
6. Go nuts with your newfound wealth!
