What's up with Titus?

Hi there!
So, I have completed the "Explore the Whirling's secret passages" task, I have checked the footprints from the inside, I have opened the "Determining the shots" sidequest... But still, I can't make Titus spill a word about Ruby's location. There is a locked skill check that may allow me to build up a theory by myself, but I can't reopen because I have no enough Logic points, and I can't add more (I've reached the limit, apparently?). I may have been doing something wrong or missing something at this point, but I can't really advance. Any help?

Completing other tasks will unlock unrelated skill checks. So do other things on your task list and check back to see what skill checks have become unlocked. In all the play runs I've done I may have been jammed up for a bit but I never got completely stuck in getting to the end.

Thanks @oku! I ended up using some cigarettes to raise my learning cap :).
