How can i play co-op

I know its a single player game but just recently i got my GF into point and click games. she just got hooked on still life 2 and i immediately wanted something new and more mature/relevant.

essentually would she be able to control the main in terms of choice and direction and i would take control of party members? does character progression work like that or would we be tied to the main character. ive watched gameplay and love what it is but i want to know if its something we can tackle together in a decent way.

basically i want us to both be involved with something of our own while also progressing together throughout the story.

also how do saves and multiple playthroughs handled?

It's a good idea but this is a solo player game and there really is no place for a second player to engage at all.

Have you played the 'Divinity Original Sin' games? They're well-made crpgs with co-op options.

Yeah, seconding Divinity: Original Sin 2. Wonderful co-op game with a massive world and plenty to do. Also has a bunch of mods.

thank you and yes i have looked into that. i enjoy those game and i own the first one however i dont see it something she would be interested in. not a fan of fantasy myself either but i do love the game for what it is.

disco really got my attention since its released and it got me to thinking about whether or not she would like it.

guess i'll just pick it up for myself then =]
