You're already on drugs, coming off of speed and alcohol, is the thing. That's part of why things are so weird. You're not fully in control of yourself.
Nothing wrong with that. Not every game is for everyone. You shouldn't try to force yourself to enjoy a game you obviously don't like and you certainly shouldn't be begging people on the internet to help you. Just move on and play something that you do enjoy.
Love to be shellshocked and crazed, but I try to focus on a great portion of humility, focused psyche skills and physique skills, love the dialogues and the emotions which run through this man at the edge of his downfall.
the sadness of the music, the bitter smiles, the emotions carry the game for me, not very interested in names and places, like in reality
in short, I go with the flow and I'm already submerged
If I were to give it a rating a 7.5 sounds about right.
However if you aren't enjoying the game it probably isn't the game for you. It's like a choose your own adventure book with an isometric top down GUI and some voice acting.
I however enjoy choose your own adventure stuff. I loved it when the Kai books were released on android (and probably IOS) as much better version than the book type deals.
If you like Disco Elysium Kai Chronicles is probably something you should look into. A completely free (no ads, no purchases) mobile 'game' which essentially adds an interface to what used to be choose your own adventure novels. I had great fun reading/playing it on public transport and the like, though it is nowhere near as deep and branching when compared to DE.
Now that I've finished it I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10. A few bugs and Typos keep it from being a full 10/10 but I had a glorious time with it. I enjoyed it more than The Outer Worlds which was up to the time I started this game my game of the year.
lol, everything is shallow, until you drown in your own, for someone else ankledeep, sea.
do you want to read elaborate tractates in a game?
well perhaps.
