Did the same and found it hilarious ^^ doing the jump from the rooftop to grab the RCM coat felt like flying.
Yes, yes!! When I realized I needed savior faire for that jump, off came everything, lol
You need to get on the kid's good side. Basically, choose dialogue options to make him feel superior or intelligent. Punching him is, ironically, a good thing to do; he respects violence since his father beats him. Don't choose dialogue options that make you look like a pansy, and don't back down when he instigates you.
After you punch him and choose the right dialogue options, you'll come across a tough Empathy check. This Empathy check won't be as organic as most checks, but try dealing with the body first before attempting the roll. Doing a certain important thing (Composure check) at the end of the field autopsy can add a massive modifier to the Empathy check for Cuno.
FTFY
In my first run I didn't get them and have been running the whole game in my disco pants because there were no other options for me.
Didn't ask Cuno for his, failed to get itchy pants (passed the check), failed to get René's pants (didn't backtrack), moralist pants are useless, jeans are pretty much equivalent to disco pants...and that's it?
Never found any other pants, though I can see there are more [discoelysium.gamepedia.com] and I never found them.
