Money for damage

Hello people,

Been playing for a while and I really like it!!. One thing is bothering me: Here and there I can generate some money and I have 35 real now. Problem is that I need 130 to pay for damage otherwise I can't stay in my room.
In gametime it is 17.00 and I believe I have to pay before 21.00. I'm about to investigate the body in the tree and time is running out. Any idea's to get more money, I'm still 100 short

You have two straightforward options:

1. Speak to Joyce and ask her for money. Insist on it.
2. Kim will help you out when you speak to Garte and don't have enough money.

^^ go out from the whirling, go past the bookstore and turn right, follow the path until you hit the hotel, then turn left and go down to the docks. she's there in a sailboat. she's very very important for furthering the plot, and as narrating much of what you need to understand in the early game, and explaining what's what in the world you find yourself in.

I had something at the end of day 1 Kim suggested talking to the manager of the Whirling Gig (Hotel) again. I did this but he just insisted i find the rest of the money...this was after 2100 hrs. Kim then suggested that I get something from his motor vehicle. I had already raided that of the bolt cutters and the prybar so thought...damn that won't help at all but as i was passing it anyway I took another look and what do you know...you get 4 x spinner hubcaps in there that you can pawn for 200 real.

I took enough money at the pawn shop to cover the bill and gave Kim the rest, went back to the manager and paid the bill.
