Report a translation problem
There's no grinding and maxing out skills is not valuable. Skill points are just there for you to unlock checks if you fail, after you've developed a few primary skills that fit the character you want to play.
I had two of those on Int and got a lot of points.
So, the limit is somewhere around 48-50 points, but it's virtually unreachable because you cannot do everything with a single character without spending hours save scumming.
How many points does your detective have in skills at the end of the game without any clothes on?
I calculated by [however many diamonds I had in skills, not skill values] + [thought cabinet slots other than the initial 3] + [number of forgotten thoughts]
It should be noted I had Mazovian Socioeconomics, Jamais Vu, and Actual Art Degree for most of the game, then Wompty Dompty Dom for a bit over half.
