Need paint or oil to "add even more beauty to the wall"

I got the brush from cindy i sold the motor oil from my car because i didnt think i needed it is there anywhere else i can find paint?

That's such a badly designed way of blocking the player from an otherwise interesting quest. Guess that even DE has failures in quest writing from times to times.
