The furies are at home in the mirror...
"The furies are at home
in the mirror; it is their address.
Even the clearest water,
if deep enough can drown."
- R. S. Thomas

I've got this stuck in my head. English's my second language, so I have some trouble understanding it. I couldn't find an analysis of the full poem nor the quote. Anyone would care to explain, what's the quote's context in the game?

For me, the quote gives a feeling of self introspection - like the version you think *you* are can be vastly different from what *others* think you are, which can take away your center (drown you) because then.. what is the real you? Like looking into a mirror and being surprised to see not your reflection, but a fury instead. In relation to the game, an example I can think of is when Harry thinks he is some kind of unlovable, broken monster internally, but from an external standpoint we can see how beautifully human he is and love him for it.
