Ehh. Your character isn't superhuman; he has to abide by the laws of physics. The sluggishness feels natural and fits with the overall atmosphere and pace, in my opinion.
Otherwise, yes, I agree, it's way too slow.
Nor mine. The slow movement is borderline obnoxious. Worst part of the game, and enough to push people away in the first few minutes IMO.
1) You necro'd a ~20 month old post
2) The character walks and jogs at a natural pace. I have over 100 hours in the game and never once felt like the player character's jogging wasn't quick enough.
Disco Elysium was never intended to be a game for impatient people. The entire experience is designed for the player to roam the environs and soak up the zeitgeist. Not trying to gatekeep, just communicating design and intent.
i quit the game because its so obnoxious. Been two years but I'm still right. The game is not that deep to justify snail pace. Walking simulator is boring af
Yes, your opinion is indisputably correct. The hundreds of awards and millions of sales the game has earned should definitely be ignored. What were all of these people thinking, enjoying a title that the great OpenSheep himself proclaimed a mere "walking simulator"?
Lmaooooooo. Yes. It is the game that is not deep enough, not you, the one who uninstalled or refunded the game after playing it for, what, did you even reach 90 full minutes?
