Getting into the church

I'm at the stage where I'm looking for Rose on the peninsula. I'm trying to get into the church but even when I pass the Physical Instrument check by trying to pry open the padlock it just causes the prybar to break. I arrested the kids in the tent before getting the key to the padlock from them. Is this going to be a problem ? is there any other ways into the church ?

Well, since nobody is responding to my post I realised that it must have been a mistake and have since reverted to an old save game. Lots of stuff to do over :(

There seems to be only one way into the church and that's getting the key from the three drug manufacturers in the tent.

Well.. Damn.

Maybe now there's a solution? Can't get into the church, too. No keys due to the arrest, can't open it with prybar.

I'm pretty sure this locks you out of the church, but you can still complete the game from here.
