Is there any way of recovering the hat given to Acele (the girl on ice), or is it lost forever?

I gave my ♥♥♥♥ Mullen hat, I got it back from the girl in the bookshop. Don't know if it's a bug

Yeah, I've checked it and she gave me the hat again. Most likely a bug.

I wanted to take my hat back after she didn't even thank me for it or acknowledge that I'd given her my cool fedora. I talked to the girl at the bookstore after that and she never gave me another hat, but she was indoors by that point, which might be why.

The bookstore girl gave me thia second fedora and while indoors, so I guess you just have to pick the right option (though it is still a bug I think)
