How do i get the signatures?

So the old lady refuses to give one. I don't have that skill leveled so i can't compete the skill check. Also one of my other skills said that i might "do something about it" in my room - but when i interact with a letter in any of the rooms, it shows only one option - to look at the zoning plan, and then close it. I tried to click on all active spots in both rooms i have, but they give nothing. So i am stuck if i cannot level up a suggestion?

I cannot ask Lena(?) for the pen. How can I get that?

You get it from her if you say the year is '51 when she quizzes you at start of the game.

I couldnt forge her signature either, nothing worked. I pawned the pen earlier because i didnt think it would have a use.

In the end i had to save scum on a 17% check with the old woman to force her to sign.

You can get the drunks to sign for you. You can forge it yourself with an interfacing check. But yeh you either need the green pen or the one Kim gives you.

Hey I think it fits here... Can I forge one of the signatures or get a fake one from the drunks if I already had the fisherwoman sign the letter before analyzing it? I found out it's a trap afterwards but put the letter away again then. Now the only option I can find to handle it is convince the old woman to sign it but I don't want to do that. When I interact with the letter again (even alone in my room) there's nothing to do (I have a pen) and the drunks don't have any dialogue options for it either...

Now what? :/

I encountered this same problem. I had a pen in my inventory, but was never given any option to forge the signature when in a building. I also couldn't get any dialogue to come up with Idiot Doom Spiral that would lead to getting help with the signature either. I'd tried to get the old woman to sign it, however it failed and was locked and I'd reached my skill cap with suggestion so was unable to go that route. I even tried clothing hoping a suggestion bonus would help but it didn't. Finally I took some speed and this allowed me to level up suggestion and then get the old woman to sign. Not something I wanted to do, but it was that or be unable to proceed with the game.

I have read the docs first, I have a pen in my inventory, I tired inspecting the letter in both the shack and In the hotel room all without kim being present

Did you talk with old lady again? She has to refuse to sign it before you can forge it after
