What I'd actually advise against, dialogue-wise, is an Intellect/Psyche or Physique/Motorics build. You end up with a lot of overlap in terms of knowledge/social options and strength/finesse options. A 1/4/5/2 playthrough has ended up probably being my second-most memorable, as I find I'm getting more banter between the skills themselves than I did on the 4/4/2/2 build I did as my first run, where Empathy, Drama, Conceptualization, and Inland Empire seemed like they kind of drowned everyone else out. Not that there's anything wrong with those skills, but as they rarely disagreed, they ended up not really saying as much. Or so it seems to me now. iirc and all that.
Volition and Authority are amazing. The whole Drama and Logic vs Volition dynamic while interviewing Klaasje was priceless. "You can't trust them! They are all compromised!"
(Mild spoiler)
- Things like your aggressive posture having a conversation with someone else's aggressive posture is great fun :-)
They've put a lot of effort into making all of the skills play their parts. All each character build really means is that your character will be dysfunctional in new and interesting ways :-P
