I finished on the 8th day, so it really depends on your playstyle.

If you're asking if there's a time limit; seems that way, but I was able to do everything I possibly could before the end without reaching it.

Wait, so if the timit limit is expired the game can end without you solving the case?Is the time limit 8 days as stated above? Im currently on day 4 and i just turned the church into a nightclub.

Not the time limit as far as I know, there are some quests that need to be done in a certain amount of time.

I believe that the devs stated that there isn't really a time limiit in terms of a game over, but I also gather that there is one specific major event which will always happen by day 5 or so if you haven't already triggered it (which can be no earlier than day 3), and various things will become unavailable as a result.

No time limit for *finishing*, if you like to faff about you can go on for as long as you want, but there are points of no return both for getting certain items and quests and also for the final stretch after which you finish the game (also it's very clearly stated that there will be "no going back").

At first I thought (or believed cuz outlets described it that way) that there were 7 days, but that's certainly not the case.

My advice: relax. Don't try to solve every quest asap. It's more fun that way.
