did this game sell well?
I know it got great reviews and all so I wonder if that is reflected in the sales as well? does anyone know
I hope it did,it was a wonderfull and unique experience, and I am eager to see what else the people who made this game can create.
This game is the perfect example of games being actuall art IMO and not just mindless timesinks.
From the writing to the aestetics to the small haunting music tunes in certain places..like talking with Joy which to me it was all just mezmerising.

My only concern is I I found myself humming along to the tune inside the whirling in rags (randomly humming "ooohh ooohh" made my wife look at me funny) so I am sort of scared that makes me a hipster now...maybe a..superstar hipster?

There's a website SteamSpy that focuses on game metadata, its not the best source and whileyou can't access specific numbers without paying, it does give estimates. Right now it says between 50,000-100,000, which for a first effort is pretty good numbers for having been out about a month and a half.

I think so. Word of mouth has been strong to support this one.

Just number of copies sold alone is not very meaningful, but you have to see it in relation to price. This game has not been heavily discounted yet and most people still trusted it enough to buy it full price, also the number of reviews for such a game that is rather niche and not what I would call mainstream in terms of its gameplay for most (although I am a traditional CRPGer), show that it has been selling well. Which I like, there has to be more gems like this which are not ruined by greedy monetisation schemes and have a well thought-through approach to what the developers wanted to accomplish and realistic ideas how they could do that.

Also: In interviews the devs said that the world was originally created as a Pen&Paper setting, so there could be more games or a P&P book in the same game setting.
