Sent one about an hour ago, currently sitting well above min system requirements with all my necessary updates.

Hey, I thought mine was crashing on startup too, it stopped responding after the logo fades out and clicking anywhere brought up the 'this program is not responding' dialog.

However, if I just let it sit there not responding for about two minutes or a bit more, the main menu did eventually load.

I have the same problem, after ZA/UM logo and beige loading screen with white circle going on at the bottom right corner, there is only some abstract background. Mouse pointer nor keybord does not react to anything on screen, no menu or some prompt at all. I have newest NVIDIA Game Ready driver 441.66 (I got the same result on two precedng driver versions as well). It does not help if I wait several minutes either. I am going to submit a bug report but if this issue prevails too much longer, with regret I would like to have my money back, because I cannot play this game. :steamsad:

In case anyone stumbles into this thread from Google, the game doesn't exactly crash. Despite Windows' notification that the program is not responding, it is actually loading in background, and eventually reaches the main menu after an awfully long time.

This was my personal experience, and I finally found out how to run this on my feeble tablet.

The ideal way is to run it on a better rig, of course, but fingers crossed if you have to!

I have a pretty nice rig and it's still happening. I might not be patient enough to get to the main menu, Windows is complaining but I am given the option to wait or close.

There was a new Nvidia driver again and the problem description hasn't changed. Sound and slow fade as if to start an intro animation, then it just sits there. Eventually Windows asks me to close or wait.

10 mins waiting and then crashes. Tried through steam and from directory. Will try a few other things then ask for money back

Hi there, we'd also recommend verifying the integrity of your files, ensuring your drivers are up to date and reinstalling the game. Many thanks!

Thanks for getting back

Yes I did all of that.
checked All drivers, checked card specs (icluding direct x just in case as old card)
checked integrity files,
reinstalled.
Ran from directory
Ran from directory as admin.
Del settings.json in the appdata..... directory so it could rebuild...
I can't think wha else i could do.
I have a low powered i3 laptop with 4gb ram with a dedicated AMD radeon 7670M gpu but should still be heaps

I got a main screen after 20 mins on my last attempt and then created a character, clicked begin and game hung untill win 7 decided to close it.
