About the clicking orbs...

I start checking their affect as soon as I notice the slot are limited
I got annoyed by some of them telling me that I can aquire XP or money by clicking orb because I kinda click all of them without those skill

Does those potential lost impact much? I love solving things, so I don't wanna be weak

No it doesn't. It's maybe the difference of one level or two, but that's nothing in the grand scheme of things, unless you literally got every thought that did that. I never bothered. Some of them don't work.

Wouldn't a level or two matter? You can level up the skill and unlock thoughts with it, I thought that's important?

Given the number of levels you'll have by the end of the game if you do all the sidequests, no, one or two more or less aren't likely to make much difference.

I sincerely doubt that the thought allowing you to gain XP from the orbs is worth it. It essentially takes one point (=1 level) to open a thought slot for it in the best case. Plus it occupies one of the slots, which are limited (although I completed the game with one free unopened slot; a good half of thoughts didn't seem worth the point). The thought which makes money out of the orbs is arguably better, allowing you to have extra money early on (which, in turn, may give you early access to some good gear). However, it should be noted that I've completed the game with ~100 reals unspent, and I bought literally everything aside of the books and the street light.
