Will there be Ultrawide (21:9) Support?
I really hope so!

Make sure to support 32:9 as well, the game keeps trying to run at 3840x1440 on my 5120x1440 screen. That's not even 16:9, so I don't know where in blazes it gets that idea from.

I have the same resolution and possibly the same screen.

After the latest patch 3840x1440 has disappeared from the options for me, I'm using 2560x1440 anyway.

Will replay when ultrawide support comes out.

Talking about resolutions. Some of them disappeared for me and another dude.

You may want to use Special K, it has resolution override options that can help...

It's easier if you use the beta version on Steam right now, which I can give you a key for (multiple keys since some random person's probably going to snatch one before you read this :-\):

Start the Special K service before the game, and then press Ctrl+Shift+Backspace while in-game to bring up the menu shown. Apply a resolution min/max limit and the texture cache settings shown and restart the game, and now the game has zero choice but to obey -- it lists exactly one resolution choice and it's the one you want :)

Mine and your issues are not the same - you request a new feature while me (and other dudes in my discussion) HAVE LOST resolution options we've had before the update.
By the way, today's update haven't fixed the issue.

More than likely it's a DPI scaling issue.

Edit Documents\My Mods\SpecialK\Profiles\Disco Elysium\SpecialK.ini

[DPI.Scaling] Disable=false PerMonitorAware=true MonitorAwareOnAllThreads=true

Run and exit the game once for the setting to take effect.

You can also set resolution overrides here, if you want 1920x1080,

[Window.System] Borderless=true Center=true Fullscreen=true OverrideRes=1920x1080

Oh, thanks. Now another question - Special K crashes at start. I run Win 7 x64, can this happen because of it?

Unfortunately, yes. I stopped officially supporting Windows 7 a while back and the options I told you to turn on are only part of Windows 8.1+. Since I have so many problems with Windows 7 I didn't even bother writing safety checks to prevent enabling that stuff on Windows 7.

I'd turn those back off, and try the other DPI.Scaling option (Disable), that works on Windows 7.

Nvm. The OS os old and I know it. Keep it just cause it is pretty well tuned for me with a lot of custom settings, etc.

just paid full price - loving the game so far.

*wish i could play in fullscreen 3440 x 1440*

please support your customers with support for this
I play on 16:10 resolutions, always. I've never used a damn 16:9 monitor my entire life. And I will not start with it now. Whoever made this 16:9-only decision needs to be sacked. So, yeah, there was a life before this game, there will still be one without it in the future.

So you're looking for ultra-narrow support? 5:4 or 4:3?
