What does "kipts" mean?

Example in a sentance: "The damn kipts are showing a real good game lately, same with the mesquitos."

I believe mesquitos refers to mosquitos, but kipts? I don't even know what that means.

I believe 'kipt' is equivalent to a slur for a black person. Mesquitos could probably seen as a fictitious slur for a hispanic person.
