If you haven't investigated fully and collected all of the evidence, the check is hard. The more you do the less difficult it is. There's also drugs and clothes.
I have but couldn't scream into the chimney well enough and have to wait for a skill increase.
Ruby is the pawn shop guy, right?
Told electrochemistry no to drugs so no clue where to get them besides I guess the pawn shop but I have no desire to do that with this playthrough.
I keep forgetting clothes. Always find that annoying design. But will have to acknowledge them at some point.
Walk up the steps near the planning boards, I don't remember what I did but it'll tell you to "scream from your diaphragram, not your head" and that'll give you a massive boost in the chimney scream check.
Ruby isn't the pawn shop guy, you'll know her later.
How much Perception do you have?
Still have to increase my skill to try the chimney again.
Is that the red paint girl?
I think 5 or 6. I put 6 pts into INT and 3 into PHY and 2 into motirics. Its given me a few environmental quips but not much else.
I mentioned her being the head of the gang; assuming thats who you speak of. Is there another dialogue I missed?
I think what makes this game different from other skill checks is skill check doesn't mean failure and you can't do it (except for physical feats) rather your mind gives you bad advice instead. It's interesting.
Morale running out makes your character have a mental breakdown and give up the case rather than actually die, sorry about that. Thought you meant you actually went with pulling the trigger.
I know, only had 1 magnesium, which was used when I put the gun in my mouth. After backing out of shooting yourself I believe you lose another morale and I die.
Perception is Motorics so you'd need to increase PER's cap or get a bonus from a thought.
With 4-6 and a decent roll, that should be enough to get you past the blue door if you look in the right place. the window of the Hardie's booth.
