Option to buy boombox is gone

I checked out the boombox, but I didn't have enough money yet. When I go back with the money, the option to buy the boombox is no longer there.

Is this a bug?

After a certain time you can't buy anything from the Pawn Shop, check back the next day.

Other than that, try talking to the Pawn Shop owner about buying it instead of clicking on the Speakers above him.

Though it could be a bug as well.

BTW you should be able to talk him down to 4 real for it by clicking the right options.

I'm getting this issue too, waiting for the next day changed nothing. talking with the broker doesn't help. Seems to be a bug; it may have been caused by going through the price options and then not buying the boombox (I lacked the money).

It's a shame, because I've really enjoyed the game up to this point. hopefully the devs can help with this in a way that doesn't involve restarting my playthrough.

Is there also a bug where you can lose the option to sell things to the pawnshop? I was able to do that the first time, I think to sell a postcard, but that option has vanished as far as I can tell.

Yeah, same goes for me. The option to buy the boombox was there, and then I chose the option to try and get him to give me a police discount. Finally ended up just keeping it at 12, but then the option to buy the tape deck was totally gone from the speaker interactive, and when I talk to Roy he acts like it should still be there.

For what it's worth I don't think checking everything and haggling and then leaving is the issue. I haggled him down to 4 real on day 1 and didn't come back to buy it until I had a use for it, which was day 2.
